Then, how to remove unwanted hair in a pocket-friendly manner? Well, the best way is to make your own wax at home, with the help of stuff available in your kitchen. You will get the wax exactly the way you get in parlors.
Ingredients Required:
- Vinegar/lemon juice- ¼ cup
- Water- ½ cup
- Sugar- 3 cups
How to Prepare?
Step 1:
Put sugar in a saucepan. Pour water in it.
Step 2:
Keep it on medium flame. Stir it intermittently, till the sugar dissolves.
Step 3:
Add vinegar/lemon juice to it. Keep stirring until you obtain a wax-like consistency (it will take 15-20 minutes).
Step 4:
Take out wax from the saucepan. Allow it to cool at the room temperature.
The homemade wax is ready. You can keep it in the fridge. Don’t store it in the freezer; otherwise, it will be difficult to melt it.
How to Use?
Step 1 :
Wash the place to be waxed with tepid water. Pat dry, with the help of a towel.
Step 2:
Spread the wax in the direction of hair growth, with the help of a spatula or blunt knife. Before applying the wax, ensure that it is not too hot.
Step 3:
Put the old cotton cloth/waxing strip on the wax. Press it slowly.
Step 4:
Remove the cloth/strip in the reverse direction of growth of hair. Be quick while removing.
Step 5:
Massage with aloe vera gel or any other moisturizer.
